Inclusion and Anti-oppression

The Inclusion and Anti-Oppression Committee promotes feminism,
anti-racism, anti-oppression and inclusion within the bodies and Committees of The
CRUES.

The Inclusion and Anti-Oppression Committee has the following responsibilities :

1. to make recommendations to any body or Committee of the CRUES regarding its
practices or political work;
2. to develop and recommend to the Congress; practices, policies and/or procedures that
promote inclusion and the struggle against oppression;
3. to report to the Annual Congress on the issue of inclusion and the struggle
against oppression.

The Inclusion and Anti-Oppression Committee has the authority to create and dissolve
subcommittees, which may be open or closed on an identity basis and whose scope is limited to
one or more specific oppressions.

Each subcommittee of the Inclusion and Anti-Oppression Committee has all the rights of a
Standing Committee, once its creation has been ratified by the Coordinating Council.
Subcommittees are not counted in the quorum of the Coordinating Council, but the Inclusion and
Anti-Oppression Committee is considered present if at least one subcommittee is present.
