The Committees
The Committees apportent une expertise particulière à la CRUES dans leur champ d’intervention et épaulent le Executive Council et les associations membres dans leur travail. Ils exécutent leurs tâches conformément aux orientations, aux priorités et aux plans d’action établis par le Congrès, ainsi qu’aux mandats qui leurs sont confiés par le Congrès et le Conseil de coordination.
The Standing Committees are as follows:
- le comité training committee;
- le comité de mobilisation committee;
- le comité de la research and academic affairs committee;
- le comité information committee;
- le comité journal committee;
- le comité de anti-opression and inclusion committee;
The Standing Committees have the following powers:
- to sit on the Coordination Council and take part in debates at its meetings, as well as backing its decisions;
- make recommendations to the Executive Council, Coordinating Council and Congress within the scope of their responsibilities;
- reach an agreement on their internal operating procedures, in accordance with the decisions of the Congress and the Bylaws;
- may be joined by an unlimited number of non-elected collaborators.
Committees are made up of elected members. Members of the executive council who sit ex officio on a committee are full members. All committee members have the right to speak, make proposals and vote.
Non-elected collaborators are not members of the Committee, but have the right to speak and make proposals.
